Taking on Woodlane Dental Equipment meant taking on a new premises to work from as the old Wooldane was run from Bob and Sarah’s house.
After a short search I found a new industrial unit a few minutes from my house in Cirencester, it is an ideal location with good transport links, close to the M4 and M5 and central to our customers meaning I am able to get to most locations within 2 hours.
The building had been finished only a few months before meaning it started as a complete blank canvass with only 1 electrical socket and big open spaces spread over two floors. This meant I had my work cut out to convert it to a space that would support the day to day activities of Woodlane Dental.
I was very excited to be able to really create a space that would exactly suite mine and my companies needs, I imagine its the same when a dentist is faced with a new building to create their own practice which works for your needs.
Although I have the basics in place (i.e. coffee making facilities) It is still a work in progress!
I look forward to the day when I can complete my little renovation and open the doors to my new showroom complete with a number of chair packages and other equipment of which I would be more than happy to demonstrate to any one who is interested.
Hopefully I will have everything up together by early 2015 and will keep you all updated with my progress.
We will have an opening party so look out for your invite!
