Woodlane Dental Equipment started in 1987 with Bob Holloway serving as one of the only independent service engineers covering the south west. Gaining an A-dec dealership early on meant Woodlane was one of only a few companies able to install the prestigious brand, which helped to build our reputation and grow the business. Over the years, we have expanded the number of manufacturers we work with, but remained selective to only those with the best products and reputations. This means that we can confidently fit the most reliable and innovative tools for your dental practice’s needs.
In 2005 Matt Richardson joined the growing company as a trainee service engineer, learning on the job under Bob’s guidance. Following Bob’s retirement in 2014, Matt took over the business to continue Woodlane’s journey. Since then, Woodlane has gone from strength to strength. We’ve been able to slowly expand the team, equipment and services we offer, while always staying true to our foundation: service engineering.

Woodlane Building Services:
A Turnkey Solution
In 2015, we started working with subcontractors to oversee building services for our customers’ renovation projects. This meant that we were able to offer a full 360 service covering design, construction, installation and maintenance in a streamlined way allowing us to project manage the entire process and allowing our customers to focus on their day to day.
Our customers loved this approach so much that in 2021 we launched Woodlane Building Services, hiring an in house construction team and training them to become dental specialists. Our turnkey solution is one of the main reasons that our customers keep coming back to us and regularly recommend us to other businesses.

Our Showroom
Moving from Cirencester to Thornbury in 2022 allowed better access to our working area across the south west including south wales as well as a much larger premises. This gave us the ability to hold more equipment and spares stock to react faster to our customer needs, as well as expanding our showroom and office capacity.
Our showroom includes examples from our 3 chair package brands (a-dec Belmont planmeca) as well as a selection of other equipment including digital equipment demonstration area, cabinetry and flooring. However, our showroom is as much about the relationship between us and our customers as about viewing equipment. With a bespoke coffee bar and large conference area we allow time to go through designs, choices and get to know the people involved in every project.
