Why Routine Maintenance is Crucial for Your Dental Practice

Preserve Equipment Efficiency and Longevity

Maintaining your dental equipment isn’t just a good idea; it’s crucial for the smooth operation of your practice. Routine servicing extends the longevity of your equipment, saving you from the expense of premature replacements.

Proper maintenance ensures that your equipment operates at its peak efficiency, allowing you to offer the best possible service to your patients. It also means that any faults or hazards can be identified and fixed before they pose any safety risks to your staff or patients.

Follow CQC Industry Regulations

UK dental practices are required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines when it comes to servicing and maintaining equipment. As approved suppliers of all the major brands of dental equipment, we follow these guidelines to ensure that your practice remains compliant with legal standards and any warranties remain valid.

Avoid Downtime and Patient Cancellations

The last thing you want is to have to close surgeries and cancel appointments last minute due to faulty equipment. Regularly maintaining your equipment dramatically reduces the likeliness of unexpected equipment failure and hazardous faults, meaning you can continue to offer your patients a smooth and reliable service.

Frequently Asked Questions

For emergencies we aim to get to you within 24 hours. Often we are able to respond to the most urgent cases within a few hours. However, for less urgent work where specific times are required to minimise your down time, a longer lead time is required.

No. We do not routinely provide second hand equipment. Although it can often be appealing to buy second hand, we have found that due to the length of time new equipment lasts, the security of long warranty periods, relatively high installation costs and excellent finance deals new equipment is often cheaper in the long term.

Its best to contact us to discuss the cost or get a quote for repairs or preventative maintenance visits. We review our prices often to make sure we are always good value and they vary depending on where, and what is required.

From our office in Thornbury near Bristol, we cover the south west. This means south of Birmingham and West of London right the way across South Wales and down into Cornwall.
