The Planmeca Compact™ i Classic is designed to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional user-friendliness.
Like all our dental units, it features an easy-to-use touch panel that supports your preferred language, allowing you to adjust all key functions, including unit controls, instruments, and infection management.
Additionally, both the dental unit and instruments can be operated directly from the foot control, keeping your hands free for patient treatment.
Use of ergonomic instruments
The Planmeca Compact i Classic can be fitted with the same extensive range of instruments as all our dental units.
Its balanced instrument arms ensure an ergonomic workflow, requiring only minimal movements to operate the tools.
Additionally, the unit can accommodate hanging tube instruments. The interchangeable instruments and simple console adjustments enable quick customization to suit individual preferences.
A calming treatment experience for the patient
The Planmeca Compact i Classic is designed to ensure a relaxing treatment experience, even during extended visits.
The chair’s design conforms to the patient’s body, offering firm support, while the double-articulated headrest allows for comfortable positioning of the patient’s head.
Additional armrests can be added for extra support. The Ultra Relax™ upholstery, crafted from durable artificial leather and viscoelastic memory foam, provides enhanced comfort.

Our dental units are constructed with aluminum components and finished with epoxy paint for exceptional durability.
The seamless, powder-coated surfaces, along with automatic flushing and cleaning programs, comply with the highest infection control standards.
The side-lifting chair and compact cuspidor base optimize legroom for both the dentist and assistant, while the slim, narrow backrest design enhances accessibility to the treatment area.
Quick access to personal settings on any dental unit.
The unique Planmeca PlanID™ sign-in system enables dentists to quickly access their personal settings on any dental unit by simply scanning a card.
This feature allows clinics to use their equipment more flexibly, as dental units do not have to be designated for specific users anymore.
